Who I Am?

You didn’t come this far to stop

I'm a copyeditor and literary fiction writer based in London.

I didn't set out to become an editor from the beginning. As much as I would love to say the career choice was instant, the real story started when I studied Computer Games Design. Four years, graduated with a First, and left with a loss of pace.

All the while, I was telling myself that literature was my true passion. I started off freelancing as a creative writer — something to keep my pockets occupied, never seriously pursued as a long-term path.

But looking back, it was never really just writing. I was analysing my own words constantly, learning how to venture into different voices and dialects, editing my own work with a clear focus in mind. From start to end, I was already doing the thing I'd eventually call my job.

Regardless of whether it was in games, books or from my own imagination, what drew me in the most was storytelling. The imaginative worlds, the plot twists, the first sentence to the last.

My time as a freelance creative writer was not with the sole focus to write stories but ti anaylse my words, learn how to venture into certain dialects, editing my own work with a clear focus in mind. From start to end, I've been familiar with the work.

I'm not coming to your work with a red pen, I understand what it is like to be too close to your own pages to see the mistakes clearly. It takes time, practice, and patience.
